I need a laptop. Lost my original one in New Zealand while preparing for the GMAT. The SZ series would be NICE for the MBA :

oh yeah, bsd reminded me. My gift for myself, if I get into any b-school, will be a new laptop. Probably the Lenovo X60 (maybe a tablet) ultraportable. :)

I am holding off on a new laptop (I borrow the wife's macbook pro) until schools starts basically. You usually get awesome deals as a student, especially with all the odd software packages we will probably need.

true, though at least from what I heard of Haas and UCLA, they will send you the discount store access once you're admitted, allowing you to buy a laptop at the student rates with all the software packages needed. :)

Fallout was great so was planescape...nothing better than baldur's gate II. I loved that game...I used to love the 200+ hour rpgs but now I'm lucky to finish one game over 6 months. I'd love to play mass effect though, seems like it'll take only 50 hours :) .

I've been so busy I completely missed this thread. I was a big Ultima fan. I started with Ultima III, and like someone else said played through Ultima VII, and even went back and played I and II. I also played Ultima Online - that was the only game of its kind when it first came out. Sadly, no time for that kind of thing these days really.

I'm also an NCAA Football and Madden fan. I was pretty good against online opponents (computer is easy to beat), but again, no time to play this years versions.

Most of you guys are probably too young to remember any of these, but as I kid I used to like the text-based adventure games like Zork, Planetfall, and a bunch of others.

I'm looking forward to wrapping up recruiting in January. I should have a lot more free time on my hands then.

Zork is mad old school. That said, I see you and raise you:
