A is the best. Parallelism is being tested. Wecan only compare comparable things.

Don't you guys think "J. J. R. Tolkien’s style" and "Margaret Weis's style" should be compared here instead of "J. J. R. Tolkien’s style" and "Margaret Weis"?

Here, it's more about a modifier than comparison.

The sentence says, "With X's Y, Z has done something"
