The trend that more women are going to join law school this fall, will in future place more women in leadership positions.
D indicates that more women are going to join law school this fall, and by that more women will be placed in leadership positions now- the placing of women is not simultaneous to more women joining - it is a subsequent effect to follow in many years to come- thus, participle placing is used worngly here. e.g. i will do 5 chapters this month, completing this book --> This means i will complete the book this month as I finish doing five chapters
