4 Men = 0.5 job in 5 days

=> \(4 men = \frac{0.5 job}{5 days}\)

Now, 6 more people are added, all having the same rate, and now 10 men have to complete 0.5 job

=> \(1 men = \frac{0.5 job}{20 days}\)

=> \(10 men = \frac{0.5 job}{2 days}\)
Hence, answer is 2 days..

1 men can do 1/40 of the work.

now 10 men can finish the job in 4 days.Half-job they can do it in 2days

More elegan solution:

Total work = 4 men * 5 days * 2 = 40 men * days
20 men * days is already done by 4 men, then 6 join
20 men * days / 10 men = 2 days

answer is 2
4 men take 5 days to complete 1/2 of the work
Therefore 10 men take x days to complete 1/2 of the work
4 * 5 * 1/2 = 10 * x * 1/2
x = 2 days
