Hi,
im lookin forward to do my MBA in the Fall of 2010...i have a query about the work experience --i was working with a software firm for 1.8 years now..but nw i have to move on to its BPO wing due to the slump n all..
wat effect it will have if i make this move from software to Bpo..will the BPO experience be counted on par with any other industry?? or will it b useles??
will it effect if im not in a specific industry for atleast 2 years??

Please guide me on this..rely in a fix..

It depends what you do in BPO. If you are a team lead and have significant responsibility or international experience, it could be a plus. If BPO means you are working in a tech support call center, it will be considered less competitive work experience at top business schools.
