Working together at their constant rates , A and B can fill an empty tank to capacity in1/2 hr.what is the constant rate of pump B?
1) A's constant rate is 25Ltr / min
2) the tanks capacity is 1200 lts.

I think the answer is C ( 1and 2 are needed to solve) But i have seen A as the answer. Could sombody pls explain in detail thx!

A in insufficient. Depending on the size of the tank, you will get different values for the rate of pump B. For instance, if the tank is 50 lts, the rate of B is 75 lts/min. If the tank is 100 lts, the rate of B is 175 lts/min.
