I am about to post the Asia/China schedule. You are one step ahead of me.

:-D two steps: one for china and one for India.

Although the fee is quite nominal but money saved is the money earned. They will waive off the fee if we do not register online and go directly? How will they verify us ?

I'm going to the San Francisco event! Anybody else going to this one?

Anybody been to one of these events before? I've heard mixed reviews. Suggestions on how to prepare?

I think the MBA World Tour is good in a few ways:
1. You get to meet many schools/admissions officers at the same place
2. Often schools that you may not have ability to easily visit such as European Schools or vice versa are there
3. You get to see your competitive pool and possibly meet someone to work through the business school application together.

If you have registered ahead of time? There is a URL referrer probably, indicating that the registration came from GMAT club but I am not sure how strongly that is policed. I think if you say GMAT Club, you will get in without a payment.

I will check that, but the best thing could be a small printable page that we can show them at the door.

If you end up having to pay for entrance, I will reimburse you $5-10 and anyone else who registers (through GC link).

See the post above from allbusiness though the problem with this one is that it is downtown... (jewelry anyone? - sorry, I spent my fair share of time in Downtown)
The good part is that it starts at 1 PM, so you won't be stuck in traffic getting there, just going back home.

Re: Meet Schools at QS World MBA Tour [#permalink]
Hi everyone,

I'm looking at going to the NYC event on Sept 25. I'm quite a bit closer to Philly but a few of the European schools i'm interested in will be at the NYC event but not the Philly event the following day.

It looks like it will be a pretty packed place with all of the schools slated to be there.

I do have a related question for anyone. Has anyone ever been to The MBA Tour event also? The reason I ask is that my #1 school is not going to be at QS (Kelley), but will be at The MBA Tour the weekend prior. The MBA Tour is listed as something like 9 hours long :-0, and I can't quite determine when would be the best time to go if I just wanted to chat it up with one of the schools there in attendance.

Any thoughts guys?

Tom

I think the best time for longer conversations is the last few hours, but I would be curious to hear from the folks who have attended last year potentially...

You won't be asked to pay!

Hello, I'm with the QS team. If you register online with the links from GMAT Club, it will attribute your registration to them. With some of our partners, there is an email that you print off but in this case, just say that you have signed up with GMAT Club at the door and there won't be a problem.
