Can u please explain this in details, i think i know it shoud be that structure in order to sound logical. but grammar?

would is subjunctive, usually has were in the other clause

i dont think would is proper in this case...

but this would be,

If our analysts were to be correct, then the interest rates would be raised.

Our analysts predict that the interest rates will be raised.

in the 2nd one, we use will to signify future perfect tense since be is a verb (to be).

i dont know how to explain the first, would occur is correct

I think the first one is our analysts predict that... but they're predicting something that isn't true

the second one is more definitive

If you predict about the future from the point of view of the past...we can't be sure what will happen at a later time.

So,I think 'would' is fine in both cases.
