Writing Pad on the GMAT [#permalink]
07 Oct 2010, 10:49
Hello Did anyone notice that the writing pad on the GMAT is smaller than the Kaplan and/or MGMAT simulation pad they provide you? I bought the entire book series from MGMAT and they gave me a pad which I thought would simulate the real one. Also, on the real one, the grid lines seem much darker than the simulation pad. Not sure if I like that a whole lot either. In any event, just wanted to shoot it out there to see if anyone else had a similar experience. Thanks. Finished all my MGMAT & GMATprep & Kaplan CAT (which was really only 4 because the rest weren't really CAT's because they were linear. Felt I kinda got gyped for my money a little) so now I'm working on the 800score GMAT's. Anyone have any experience with them? Good? Bad? Thanks. Lemme know. Appreciate it.

Based on my experience (I had the MGMAT pad), both pads are the same size.

Compare apples to apples: Practice test at home: No test center known/comfortable environment ability to "pause" etc GMAT day: Stressed out Little things can set you off You notice shortcomings like whoa etc They are close in size.

yeah idk i was probably a little stressed. this is a big test for me, im just trying to narrow the list of things that could pose as potential distractions. granted that most of the time the actual GMAT more than likely won't be 100% exactly as planned but I do try
