writing the GMAT [#permalink] New post 29 Jun 2004, 15:26
Hi,

I was wondering for the actual GMAT exam, does everyone work at the same time on each section? ie. say I finish the essay in 15 min instead of taking the full 30 min, do I go on to the next section after I exit the section for the first essay, or will my computer state that I have to wait 15 min for the next section to begin? Just wondering, because on the PP, the next section just begins after I exit a section, but it would seem akward for ppl to take breaks at different time depending on their individual pace.

Thx very much.

You would have to wait. And do not think that in the center all ppl do GMAT at the same time. There are many different ppl, who do different exams. So be prepare to work in noisy atmosphere, because some tests have different time frames and ppl are allowed to leave the room for a break.
