x and y are 2-digt integers. What is the difference between two tens' digit?1) x-y=27
2) Units' digit of x minus the units' digit of y is greater than 3

Ans : C.

From (1), nos could be 54 and 27 in which case, tens digit difference = 3. The nos could also be 47 and 20, in which case, tens digit difference is 2. So INSUF.

(2) is also INSUF.

From (1) & (2) unit digits could be (8,1), (7,0), (9,2). In all cases, the 2 nos will have a difference of 2 for the tens digit.
