Let me give it a try.....

A) xy>1 => x > 1/y Not Sufficient.

B) x/y>1 => x>y Sufficient.

you forgot the case in which y is negative ..coz if it's negative, multiplying two sides of the inequality in B causes the change in direction of the inequality

1) xy>1. not enough. x can be 4 or -4 and y can be 3 or -3. insuff

2) x/y>1 => (x-y)/y>0...x-y>0 and y>0 OR x-y<0 and y<0. insuff

1)+2) both sets (4,3) and (-4,-3) satisfy both statments...insuff

let x = 4 , y = 3 xy =12 >

(2) x/y > 1
let x = -6 , y = -3 x/y =2 > 1
let x = 6 , y = 3 x/y = 2 > 1

taking together
let x = -6 , y = -3 x/y =2 > 1 & xy > 1
let x = 6 , y = 3 x/y = 2 > 1 & xy > 1
