IMO E

1) says Y is negative (1 divided by -ive number will be less than 0).
From the given number line, it implies that X is also negative. No information about Z. Not sufficient.
2) Z may or maynot be between X and Y
X=-4, Z=-3, Y=-2 ; satisfies the conditions X<Z<Y and X>Y+Z
X=-4, Z=-5, Y=-2; satisfies X<Y and X>Y+Z but Z does not lies between X and Y. Not Sufficient.

combining both we can't say for sure abut the position of Z.
