They can email you at anytime I would guess, its their world, we're just living in it. When multiple people do get invites though, it has seemed they get them at the same exact time the past couple fridays. So it looks like unless there is another batch of multiples this afternoon, another long week ahead.
Actually with the hurricane going past my house, this week went much quicker with no power because I couldnt check every night.

They do go out at other times - I got mine on a Thursday night, the day before a batch went out, so it does happen.

@ skm - yeah I remember you being the outlier a couple of Thursdays ago.. Good luck with the interview at the end of the month..
@Melodania - Things are dandy for me, even without power. The north jersey and nyc people are a fairly helpful and resiliant bunch in times like these.

My experience as an SOM applicant is quickly eclipsing my experience as a free ticket holder to the Googa Mooga in Prospect Park.

Just got an invite! Need to go buy a coat now...as it is currently ~80 degrees where I live.
ps is it better to fly to Boston or to NYC and then to New Haven?

If there are no effects from the hurricane when you travel, I'd go for NYC because Metro-North trains run more often than Amtrak out of Boston (Amtrak also runs from New York but I've always taken the commuter train option when going from NY to CT).

Anyone that has already done their interview on campus have any recommendations on Hotels? I'm taking the train to Yale so I'd prefer for it to be in walking distance.

There's also the New Haven Hotel, but it's on the other side of the Omni and so means a slightly further walk. There isn't much else that doesn't require a car.

The weather's taking a turn towards winter and I think the east coast days of 40/50 degrees are numbered. Granted when you're coming from 80, anything 65 and under is all cold...maybe you should invest in a hat and a scarf too! Posted from my mobile device

Congratulations to the latest batch of gmatclub-ers who received their invites! Good luck, folks!  Hope you guys could also update your profiles so we can see how our forum is performing versus the published "interview invite rate". As it is, we're still at around 18%, so if we take the data from last year there should still be a lot more invites to come out. Good luck to the rest of the folks here who are waiting for their invites! *this is me trying to pass time while waiting for the decision date* @_@
