Officially dinged without even an interview. Pretty disappointing since SOM was near the top of my list. Just hope this isn't a sign of more rejections to come my way. In any case, congrats to those who got the call today!

Still no email, but there's "status update" on application website - officially dinged w/ interview. This one emotionally bites pretty bad. Well gotta get ready for work now.. Congrats to those who got in! ..and huge thanks to people at chatroom today

DBalks you're probably right...they did suggest to submit any additional materials ASAP, but having only applied a few months ago, I don't think anything substantial enough has occurred, I guess they mean submit as soon as you have something significant to share with the adcom?

Has anyone heard about scholarships?
The website says "All applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships. No separate application is required. Merit scholarship recipients are notified at the same time that they are admitted."

They said they have very limited merit-based scholarships which they share when they make admissions decisions.

shame on me for not sharing my congratulations earlier.
From my 2 visits to Yale, I met some of the brightest and best applicants of all the campuses i visited. So to all of you who got in, I am 100% sure it was well earned. Best of luck with the rest of your apps, and if you choose Yale, best of luck at SOM.
