Thanks a lot gsr! I did re-read ur post the day before taking the exam. There are may people who are really good in Math and Verbal and score 750+.. but what I admire about you is the courage that u dispalyed in taking the test second time and conquering it! :beer

HongHu, you are the Godess of Quant... my goal has always been to learn to solve the questions in the most compact ways - A SKILL that you have MASTERED! :good

Vivek, when I felt frustrated with SCs - I would remember the Kings of SCs - U and Paul - and keep pushing. :thanks for ur PMs and tips!

Glat that my post was of some help!
Again, GMATClub is a wonderful place to get everything you need to do well in GMAT, make a good MBA app. and even beyond. Seeing the number of posts you have made, I am sure the participation here would have helped you a great deal, just like it did to me. In my case, the only difference b/w the 1st and 2nd attempts was my level of involvement here!

Thanks remgeo, Christoph, rhyme and everybody!

Abhiskek, Good luck for ur Next Encounter. My only advise for Verbal is "Focus on improving Speed in RCs" and take full length tests with AWA, so that u don't get tired after the gruelling Quant section! I literally gave up on Verbal after 65 minutes and it defenitely cost me 10-20 points overall.

Gaurav, Good luck for ur test. Keep working on Math. You are already pretty good at Verbal. I am sure you will get a good score.

Congrats man... Great score. I am off the forum currently but I was always keeping track of you, vivek and PS_dahiya test scores. You people really deserved this score. I am very sorry about ps_dahiya but very much sure that he will join 700+ club if he re take the test again.
Girish your maths score puts you in a different cadre, and you deserved that. All the best for you application process.
Hopefully I will restart my studies soon.

thanks

You mentioned something about this book...

4GMAT's Advanced Math Lesson Books

Is it worth it? Did you buy the book or the e-book? Does the book which costs 90 bucks also contain all the material of the E book?

Thanks a lot...

I just bought the number theory and inequalities e-book and it's worth every penny. The book doesn't have DS questions but its provides solid basics and some very difficult PS questions in Number Theory/Inequalities.
For the other $90+ book, I am not sure how useful it is. I wouldn't advise buying such expensive book. Instead if you feel the need for books covering the basics it's better to buy MGMAT books.
And if you need difficult problems always checkout GMATClub posts :-D
