GMAT: 690 45V 39 Q
Undergrad: 3.4GPA B. Economics and Accounting UCLA
Age: 23 Male, white/asian
Work Experience: 1yr total at corporate finance (Intel)

(then it gets interesting) Left Intel to start my own company. Started off as an advisory company for a natural products company in Poland, now we produce dietary supplements. Launched 3 products globally and 12 more products. Extensive distribution deals in US, UK, and Canada. I work out of London and Krakow, Poland.

Achievements: increased production for the company I was advising, saved them from bankruptcy. Obtained clients for them in Dubai, S. Korea and Belgium (+1MM). Also did a executed a complete reorganization for the company. (this is my grandfathers company, with over 3,000 employees)

My 3 supplement products are completely natural and produced in the most sustainable way possible (i'm banking on this in my essay). My products will be in stores such as whole foods, vitamin shoppe, and holland &barretts.

I'm applying for the entrepreneur programs, but including my corp finance experience to round out my essays.

My essays are focused on my company and change the face of the supplement industry post mba. Also about my failed project in Uganda (to establish production plants with government subsidies)

Interesting bits about me: traveled 100k miles in 2009 for business (All over europe, s.korea/japan, UAE, Uganda (long story)). speak fluent korean, polish and french.

Extracurricular: founded an expatriate club in krakow, 20members+.

Applying to: NYU, CBS and HBS.

Please let me know! I feel that im the bottom average of the schools, and my age isn't helping at all.

Thanks!

your age shouldnt be a factor at HBS. are you 23 now ? will you be 23 or 24 at matriculation? more important than age (at least for HBS) is quality of work experience. it sounds like you've already got a lot of it.

the most important thing for young applicants is "why now?". this won't be asked explicitly in any of the HBS apps, but it is something that adcom will definitely want to see (they may or may not ask you on the interview - they didnt ask me, but i've read other cases where they do). make sure your essays display this reason somewhere.
