GMAT: 690 45V 39 Q
Undergrad: 3.4GPA B. Economics and Accounting UCLA
Age: 23 Male, white/asian
Work Experience: 1yr total at corporate finance (Intel)

(then it gets interesting) Left Intel to start my own company. Started off as an advisory company for a natural products company in Poland, now we produce dietary supplements. Launched 3 products globally and 12 more products. Extensive distribution deals in US, UK, and Canada. I work out of London and Krakow, Poland.

Achievements: increased production for the company I was advising, saved them from bankruptcy. Obtained clients for them in Dubai, S. Korea and Belgium (+1MM). Also did a executed a complete reorganization for the company. (this is my grandfathers company, with over 3,000 employees)

My 3 supplement products are completely natural and produced in the most sustainable way possible (i'm banking on this in my essay). My products will be in stores such as whole foods, vitamin shoppe, and holland &barretts.

I'm applying for the entrepreneur programs, but including my corp finance experience to round out my essays.

My essays are focused on my company and change the face of the supplement industry post mba. Also about my failed project in Uganda (to establish production plants with government subsidies)

Interesting bits about me: traveled 100k miles in 2009 for business (All over europe, s.korea/japan, UAE, Uganda (long story)). speak fluent korean, polish and french.

Extracurricular: founded an expatriate club in krakow, 20members+.

Applying to: NYU, CBS and HBS.

Please let me know! I feel that im the bottom average of the schools, and my age isn't helping at all.

Thanks!

Your academic stats are slightly below average for your target programs, but your story is fascinating and distinctive. I don't think your age/lack of WE will be an issue at HBSor CBSbecause you have really packed a lot into those two years and those two schools, especially HBS, welcome early career applicants.

There are certainly no safety schools on your list, but I don't find your choices unreasonable. Perhaps apply to 1-2 additional programs or a safety. You may want to look into Stanford, MIT, or Duke

Best,
Linda
