"they" in E has no clear reference.

It should be 'E' as it is in active voice whereas D is in passive voice. An active voice takes precedence over passive voice.[/quote]

This is a good one, I came down to D and E b/c I couldnt decide either.

Picked E and fell for the trap. Thx Bkk.

They in E can refer to good eating habits or the dancers and gymnasts.

D is active voice. The dancers/gymnasts are the subject of the sentence.
