Dear Alex,
I will be very thankful to you for devoting few minutes on my profile and quide me to my next step.

GMAT Score - 660 (82 percentile)
Quant - 49 (86 percentile)
Verbal - 31 (58 percentile)

I am Asian origin working in US. I have about 6 years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer. My job profile is designing various Electrical systems such as power distribution for a building, Fire alarm systems, Building Surveillance and security systems etc.

I have Masters in Electrical Enginnering from one of the top Institute in India (Indian Institure of Technology (IIT)-Kanpur) with 9.25/10 GPA.

I have 4 year bachelor degree in Engineering. I was the topper of my class. I was awarded with GOLD MEDAL for being the topper of my Electrical Degree class. I was also awarded with the Best Technical Project Award for my bachelor degree.

I have been quite active in sports. I was Captaion of College Cricket Team. Outdoor games Secretary. Also, I was the student body representative of Post graduate Senate committee.

At my work I am not a permanent manager but I am managing most of my projects individually and time to time have managed a team of 2-3 engineers.

My most prefered college is Darden School (Virginia). then,
Fuqua school,
Columbia

My immediate goal is to improve my business making skills and long term goal is to open my company that render electrical consulting services.

Alex, what do you think of my odds at above schools. What other schools would you recommend based on my profile and score.

I really appreciate your time and effort.
Thanks a lot,

You should be competitive for the schools you listed. Add Ross, Haas and Tuck to the list as well. Given where you're at in your career (6+ years), I wouldn't apply to safety schools (outside the top 16). Just focus on these schools, and if you don't get in, consider going to an exec or part-time program the following year.
