I just wanted to take this time to thank you GMAT Pill for my success! I started studying a month ago and saw my score jump from 720, 47Q, 42V (GMAC Practice Score) to 770, 50Q, 47V on the actual exam!

I studied using the GMAT Pill practice questions as well as Manhattan GMAT (Practice tests, Sentence Correction, and Advanced Quant.; not the full program).

I really think GMAT Pill has struck a wonderful balance between solid free services and establishing a revenue stream through convincing folks to buy full membership. I was on a bit of a budget (because I wanted to save funds for MBA applications) so I did not purchase the full membership. As a Bain associate consultant, I am definitely recommending GMAT Pill to the new class of Bainies I am training this week.

I studied for the GMAT using the Manhattan books and scored 690. With ten days to go before my retake, I bought GMAT Pill and started studying. The results speak for themselves.

For many of us, the content tested on the GMAT was taught to us in middle or high school but is now long forgotten. I could figure out most SC questions because the wrong answers sounded weird, but I did not know rules such as the proper use for "due to" or "whether," both of which were tested on my actual exam.

GMAT Pill does an excellent job of quickly refreshing old content and teaching the rules and logic of the test. In addition to the courses, there are also tons of questions that you can answer, with videos of Zeke walking through his thought process. I was soon adopting his thinking about cutting fluff and looking for key words. The result is that you gain exactly what you need to ace the test. I highly recommend this product, with the OG and the test prep software. The SC pill is best in class.

I discovered GMAT Pill early into my preparation. I was aware that I had less than two months to prepare for GMAT and I would require a fast-track method to prepare. My foundations in Quants were decent but I had little exposure to the sentence correction and critical reasoning sections of Verbal. I also needed to improve my time management skills.

GMAT Pill was the ideal resource to plug in all the gaps in my preparations. The best advantage GMAT Pill offers is through the frameworks. The frameworks are in Zeke’s unique style where you can visualize the thought process. GMAT Pill also offers videos where Zeke works through the problems. The informal instruction style where Zeke encourages you to think through the problems was absolutely critical for my final score. I believe the constant reinforcement of the frameworks while solving the problems also helped me in building my foundations. With these tools in my bag, I could look at a problem and quickly figure out the best way to solve the problem. Frameworks such as the “numbers vs. percentage” in Data Sufficiency, “like vs. as” in sentence correction, “getting rid of the fluff” in RC, “connecting the dots” were extremely useful. I have mentioned a few, but there were several other frameworks which came in handy during the actually GMAT exam.

The IR section was also helpful in getting a hang of the different problems you can look forward to in the actual GMAT exam. The IR section is usually time consuming and the prior preparation helps in saving that extra few minutes. I consistently used the GMAT Pill app while travelling to work to put in a few extra minutes of study every day. The problem sets are also a good resource to practice problems on the move. Thank you GMAT Pill. A 750 score would not have been possible without you.

This is for people who want a cost-effective and intense study plan that doesn't involve babysitting! You do it on your own time but there is enough structure provided for you. I really liked the core frameworks for DS and PS. I used the one-month study plan but started with Quant since that was my weakest area. I'm a native English speaker and have been working for 5 years, so going back to the Quant was painful at first. The core framework really helped me start each problem. I had 6 weeks to study total, and did it mostly on weekends and before/after work. I also liked that the Pill made me feel like this was doable--something I could easily accomplish if I spent the time. The article about the GMAT psychology was especially helpful to read and re-read.

I am happy to say that, on my first try, I got a 710!

I am Chinese majoring in Accounting and Finance for my undergraduate. Looking forward to getting my masters in the UK, I took the GMAT exam. Given my background, I thought that both my verbal and quantitative would not be a problem. Thus, I went for the first round of GMAT without much preparation, I was disappointed to obtain 680. After taking GMAT Pill for a month, my next score was 730 and I was admitted into London Business School.

I signed up for GMAT Pill after a recommendation from a friend. During that period, I was overloaded with school work, CFA Level 1, the student club that I founded in university and also a small side business that I was running. However, GMAT Pill provided me a good solution to efficiently increase my ability. I began to listen to GMAT Pill on the bus, when I was at the gym and even waiting for lesson. There are also many small tips that proved to be helpful during the actual test. Learning through video is definitely more effective than learning from books. The best thing about GMAT Pill is that it is user friendly, effective and allows me to learn anytime, anywhere.

One slight area for improvement would be to enhance the smoothness of the video.

I cant guarantee that GMAT Pill is the best resource out there. But if you are a really busy candidate with the determination to devote whatever time you have left to preparing GMAT, I think this is the perfect program.

Hello,

I just retook the GMAT on Monday, 7/1/2013, and jumped from 610 to 720 (Q: 45, V: 44) over 6 weeks. Over those 6 weeks I used GMAT Pill's lectures almost exclusively to study.

I am a physician and have taken multiple computerized and written standardized tests over the last decade (SAT; AP Exams; MCAT; USMLE Steps I,II, & III). I have never felt as well prepared for the actual test as I did after GMAT Pill's complete prep course.

I was nervous about using a "different" approach but I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Thanks GMAT Pill!

Attached is my score report from the exam showing my scores.

I found GMAT Pill online through a couple of GMAT blogs. I am an Engineer by degree, and have always found the quantitative section much easier to comprehend. I took the GMAT once already, scoring a 680 (49Q, 34V). I was unsatisfied with my score, since I have been studying for 8 months and have been using a different GMAT online class.

When I started working through GMAT Verbal Pill, I liked how Zeke really breaks down the entire argument from start to finish. I realized why my verbal score wasn't improving. It wasn't about finding the RIGHT answer for me, but about eliminating the WRONG answers. After I learned the patterns with obvious wrong answers, I could easily eliminate 1 or 2 answer choices right off the bat without much hesitation. This increased my confidence and accuracy. This strategy was useful for all the verbal sections.

I rescheduled my GMAT for exactly 1 month later, and scored a 710. I couldn't be happier! If you still have doubts, remember there is no substitute for hard work, but the study methodology that the GMAT Pill instills is great. Thanks for everything Zeke!

You get to go into the mind of Zeke, and it is pretty impressive how he can dissect a problem and come with the correct answer. You must be disciplined enough to retrace your steps with EACH problem to gain the most significant improvements. It was great having a plan and to think like he thinks. I improved 120 points from 430 to 550 so I know this stuff works. I am not trying to get into Harvard but with a little more practice I know I can keep improving to get the score that I want. 120 points in 3 months!!

The only thing I will say is the formatting of the website is a little choppy and can get a little confusing if you are an unorganized person. But with discipline anything is possible. Definitely give it a try if you really want a tutor but a fraction of the price.

I had taken the GMAT once already and scored a 680. I wasn't sure how to bump up my score to the 700 club. Took a few free courses on the GMATpill and though initially I was reluctant because I felt the teaching wasn't as organized as Magoosh (which I previously used and was great for building my base), I decided to give it a shot and followed their 30 day plan. Honestly, I found the teaching style to be a little distracting at first and the User Interface was not as clean as I would have hoped, but I stuck with it, and before I knew it, I had a really strong mastery of the Verbal section.

Something about this program was really making me make big verbal score improvements which was the big driver of my score improvement and confidence in beating the GMAT overall.

There is some genius below of the surface of the GMATPill that you absorb unknowingly - that's exactly what happened to me.

Additionally, the personal touch by the GMATPill tutors answering my questions was super helpful and following their 30 day plan helped to keep me disciplined.

I was working extra hard at work during this time period and I only had one more shot at the GMAT before my apps were due. The day of my 2nd test I felt far more confident than the day of my first test on which I scored my original 680 (I think a little of that score on test 1 was thanks to luck)...took GMAT #2 with no clue what I would get... and finally on the final screen of the test saw my 700!!! All thanks to GMATpill for refining and refocusing my study habits...

The GMATPill is a good tool to beat the GMAT. You have to stick to it and really try to understand the concepts. And though you may not see it in the first 2 weeks, it actually will help! The practice questions were very helpful and it was all I used to practice before my 2nd GMAT. It worked! Thanks to Zeke and his team I did join the 700 club!

I'll be heading to Kellogg in the fall!

Good luck everyone!

I wanted to thank GMAT Pill, since I believe it is the main reason I had such a great score the second time I took the GMAT. The first time I scored 640.

It mostly helped me with the verbal part, which as non-native speaker with an engineering background, was my main weakness. I had tried MGMAT the first time and scored poorly.

Although I believe MGMAT material are well put together and comprehensive, I believe they have too much information to digest in a short period of time. The GMAT Pill thought process for each section of verbal and quant was very clear, concise, and logical.

These attributes made the Pill easy to understand, assimilate, and repeat. I had so much more confidence when tackling the verbal questions, since I knew exactly what to do and how to do it.

As a result my Verbal score jumped from 31 to 40.

Attached is my official score report.
