I took e-GMAT’s Verbal Live course and was able to score 710 (Q50, V35) after scoring 670 (Q49, V31). I found it very useful. I saw improvement in verbal after e-GMAT course. I would like to thank Rajat, Payal, and Shraddha. The live sessions of RAJAT on strategy and CR were awesome. Payal and Shraddha are no less than Stacy and Ron of MGMAT. No doubt no one knows more than these two experts of Mgmat, but sometimes I used to find their replies too technical to grasp. On the other hand - the live sessions of Payal and Shraddha were very easy to grasp. Their articles and replies on the questions are fabulous. REALLY something that helps you to learn the concepts. I would highly recommend e-GMAT for non natives, not only the course but also the replies and articles of its representatives.

Well this is the first course after Manhattan test series that I had heard alot from my friends I had inititally gone only for SC but later I registered for CR and RC.

The best part of the course is that each steps of action in each course is written in methodologically that helps one to not only build the approach but also make it part of one`s thinking thank to application file and same answer explanation in number of ways that makes the approach part of your thinking.

Course needs to be done couple of time to get the real gist and approach.

I am very happy with the course may even go for Verbal Live and have already recommended to number of my Friends

I have opted for the verbal online course of e-gmat.This course is very beneficial for the beginner as well as for others. Initially I was afraid of Engilish grammer but after seeing the e-gmat course I now very comfortable to give gmat exam in June.

e-gmat step wise approach is very unique and provide a strong base to understand SC,CR and RC questions. In SC question, once one read the e-gmat process one can easily find out 2 to 3 mistakes and can eliminate 2 to 3 options very easily in one glance and then its saves time to solve problem.
Before taking egmat i can only get 15 to 20 questions right but now I reached up to 30 to 32 in test trials.

Its instructors are very co-operative and online live programs are also very helpful.

I used the e-GMAT course and was able to score 750 (Q51, V39) after scoring 640 in the first mock test. I took e-GMAT’s Verbal Online course. The e-GMAT course, especially the SC section was extremely helpful to move my score a notch higher. I found their SC content to be very specific, precise and applicable. Their material is very specific as it provides a clear set of tools and strategy to attack an SC problem of any level. Evidently, my consistency in SC section improved drastically, and more importantly I became much more confident with this section, which helped me further refine my strategy.

Also, one of the founders of e-GMAT, Rajat Sadana was very helpful in guiding me through my GMAT preparation, especially when my exam date was closing by. I really liked having someone much more experienced guide me by specifically looking at my previous CAT performances and helping me design an optimum strategy for the actual exam.

I was introduced to e-GMAT course for verbal live prep through GMAT club and I am extremely satisfied with the course Content, the way verbal live sessions were scheduled and the delivery of the course.

Sentence correction section has explained all the fundamentals required to give you an upper hand in accessing the situation and increasing your accuracy in getting the right option. The live sessions by various faculties has been carried out in a systematic manner and interactive environment built in the session was so helpful.

There has been gradual increase in verbal score as we progress through every section and also e-GMAT has made the sessions very interesting.

Overall, I had a great experience with the Veritas online program. I really appreciated the flexibility of having the course both live online, and recorded so I could participate when my schedule allowed and listen to recordings when I had other commitments.

The material helped me really narrow in on where I needed to focus and provided concepts in an easily digestible format. I didn't really spend a whole lot of time with the verbal material because it's a personal strength, so focused on trying to maximize my study time in the Quant area. The books, classes, and online resources were extremely helpful.

My only complaint would be the occasional technical glitches of the online delivery technology and the fact that it's not available to stream via an iPad or iPhone. Otherwise, it was all around stellar.

I tried the e-GMAT course after having (or at least tried to) go through books.

e-GMAT courses - As a working professional, I found that the online resources are much better. I never thought I would say this, even after sitting in front of a computer for the better part of the day however they are much more tolerable on weekdays and one can easily spend 90 minutes on them. The egmat courses are really nice. Their SC meaning based approach does a much better job of tackling SC than MGMAT does. You retain much more as well. Prethinking and Bold Face in CR is very good too. For RC, this is the first real course that taught something. Overall, the live sessions compliment the leanings in the course very well.

In addition, I also looked at economist GMAT and Grockit. The both have a number of practice questions. Although the explanations in Economist GMAT were better, Grockit was free for me and complemented the e-GMAT course well.

One of the downside of online resources is that they don't work well on Tablets. Hence, you cant take them outside.

The best thing that I liked about this course is focus on fundamentals. It did not teach me tricks. After going through the course, I was able to solve most official questions easily. Moreover, I was confident of my answers in GMAT Prep question pack 1 - something which I was not after going through the MGMAT books.

Hi Everybody,

I had signed up for the egmat course after giving my GMAT for the 1st time. The course was indeed good. Firstly,it is economical and secondly audio visual learning is an effective method of learning the concepts. I would say that there was not many new things I learnt, but the clarity of concepts learnt improved greatly. The efficacy in spotting errors improved. When I say this, let me tell you the best course which fits in here is Sentence Correction. They have loads of questions to apply and reinforce the concept in your mind.

As regards Critical reasoning, they use the pre thinking approach. Truly speaking, I dont follow this approach and have my own way of solving CR problems. They dont have a separate UGE for RC which is leaves you with less questions top practice with.

Then finally comes the RC part. Here too E GMAT does a good job of segregating the question types. But again there is no UGE here so less practice questions.

All in all,I would say that you can complement your study material with E GMAT. You will surely not repent. Moreover it is a verbal focussed course unlike other test prep companies which focus more on quant.

I used e-gmat for my verbal prep. I purchased both their SC and CR courses and also their Live sessions.
Let me begin by saying that I have seen a huge improvement in both these sections of verbal. I am a non-native and e-gmat course is tailored to help non-natives.

These are the things that I liked from their course
- The course installs in you a logical procedure/process to approach the SC and CR questions
- They stress the importance of meaning. The meaning first approach is crucial especially when you are tackling high-level (hard) questions
- It is e-learning course and that makes it even more effective. It is hard for me spend quality time to read and absorb from a book after a day's work. The audio-video style of learning the concepts is very much effective. In addition, a book, as a passive medium doesn't do an effective job in stressing importance of one grammar concept over the other.
- You can customize the course based on your level. There is a quiz before and after a concept. So it allows you to gauge and skip a concept if you are good in it.
- The live sessions are very interactive and gives you a chance to see how the instructors (payal and rajat) use the e-gmat process to tackle hard questions. This gives you more confidence in practicing with egmat process.
- Their customer service is excellent. They are very responsive in helping all types of queries. (whether related to verbal or strategy or study plan or timing issues etc)
- Value for money: What they offer for the price you pay is amazing when you compare with other bigger companies

I am a non-native speaker attempting GMAT for the 3rd time. My earlier scores were 600 and 640. Both the times my scores were low because of the verbal part. I just managed to score 28/30 in verbal. So after reading some reviews, i enrolled with e-gmat for their flagship offering.

I find this course very useful in my verbal preparation for the following reasons.
1)Online classes in convenient timings especially for those who work full-time. Even if you miss any class you can attend the next one from another batch as they run simultaneous batches.
2) The content is simple, easy to understand but yet complete in terms of coverage. You wouldn't need any other prep material for verbal other than OG and Verbal review guides.
3)There is a plan that has been created for you so that you don't have to waste your time trying to create one. You just have to follow their schedule, complete your assessment tests, attend online classes and do the post assessment tests. If this schedule is followed then the verbal part would be complete in 45 days time.
4) They also offer a 4 point improvement guarantee on your verbal score. (Not sure if they have this ).

MY GMAT was scheduled in march'13 but couldn't take it due to ill health. Am back now and rescheduled it for june'13. Hope to break the 700 barrier with e-gmat's assistance.
