I am very happy with the two e-GMAT Verbal Online courses that I used (SC & CR). This courses were important tools in my path from 30V to 40V in 3 months.

I decided to take these online courses after some research on the web and how it was rated for non-native speakers like me. The reviews were right! The videos and the sources that I found there were very easy to understand and gave me an effective approach to face verbal questions.

Finally, despite some problems with the speed of the videos I found that the platform was very friendly. I definitely recommend this course to complement the preparation for GMAT of any non-native speaker.

E-Gmat proved to be pivotal in me getting a V39 on the eventual GMAT exam. It is a good starting point for international students. All the concepts were explained clearly and the videos proved to be a very good tool to learn.
I also liked the concept of scholaranium and the analyses provided after each test. The ability to track my performance after 5-6 tests really helped me identify my weaknesses.
The tests after each section or topic were also very helpful, I just wish that the questions in scholaranium were not a repeat of the questions that I had already practiced as that didn't reflect the correct score that I should have achieved.
Overall, I would definitely recommend any non native speakers to go for the EGMAT verbal course.

Being a non native I was struggling to improve score in verbal. When I started the course my score used to be 20 in mocks. E-GMAT verbal online course clears the concepts in very structured fashion. Questions during and after completion of each topic helps in strenthening the concepts. There is huge data of questions which cover all variety of GMAT questions. The solution provided to these question is again very well defined and practising these questions train your brain to start solving questions in correct pattern and right solution. e-GMAT verbal online course is very good for Indian students. I improved score in verbal with 17 points in just 20 days of preparation.

I took The Economist MBA test prep. I loved that it is adaptive, and after my second practice test of scoring relatively well, it adjusted the level of difficulty to help me answer the more difficult questions. I felt that the verbal part really emphasizes a few key points, such as the use of 'one' and other sentence correction errors. While studying I kept wondering why it was so repetitive, but when I scored in a high percentile for the verbal portion I then understood why. I also really enjoyed the 1-on-1 tutoring sessions and found them very helpful. My only suggestion to those considering using The Economist is to schedule the tutoring sessions well in advance, as they tend to fill up quickly.

Verbal Gmat is a great asset and helped me study with more focus and precision. It allowed me to be immersed in the world of the GMAT Verbal and understand the dynamics of the questions types as well the nuances required to master the questions.

The live sessions were great and helped reinforce skills learned in the lectures. The good thing about it is that , these lectures and live sessions give context to the GMAT material so they become more alive and your can absorb it better. I found that when reading the books, it became a bit boring but with visual learning you do absorb the material much better.

I am generally regarded as one of the students who is very very good at quant.. But very few people knew the credit shud actually be given to guru sir...
I scored 760 in my Gmat.. 247 in my NMAT.. I'm planning to do my mba from one the top B schools in the world... A major part of the credit of all the success I'm enjoying should be given to him.. He was the one who spend lot of time discussing various things with me.. Explaining the problems which I Cudnt solve.. The class used to be scheduled till 8pm but sir used to teach till 9 and not even a single student in the class used to feel like it's Getting late... Sir used to induce a lot of energy into the students which helps them a lot not only to achieve their short term goal of cracking the exams but also to do well after Getting in to the actual course. He never used to teach how to solve the problem.. Infact he used to make us think in how many different ways a problem can be solved..May be he dint remember who I am because he treats every one the same way helping them out in every possible way..
Sir I'm the one whom you helped a lot in achieving the scores and kept me on par to get into the Top B schools in the world.. Thanks for all the support

I joined the e-gmat Verbal Online course. The course is very good and has detailed videos for all the important topics. In addition, the verbal online course also includes videos for Integrated Reasoning. I have not completed the Integrated Reasoning course so far. However the verbal courses are very comprehensive and give a good understanding of all the GMAT topics. The course is also targeted towards folks who do not have English as the first language. It will take around 1-1.5 months of daily practice to complete the course in my opinion.
The one area to improve is the forums. Unfortunately, most of the replies from experts to the questions are to go back to the course to study. I guess it is difficult to get to each and every query but it helps in studies if some of the 'controversial' questions in the forum are addressed in a better manner. This actually does not affect the overall course as most of the questions are fairly well-explained in the course itself and also lot of questions can be found on GMAT Club and BTG forums.
Lastly, the course is almost 1/10 the price of the so-called prestigious courses but in my opinion the course + OG should be sufficient to improve one's performance and get a good score. My exam is in a month and a half and I hope the outcome is good for me. 

Great Experience With EMPOWERgmat! 700 to 760 January 09 | 2016

I used EMPOWERgmat to help prepare for my 2nd crack at the GMAT. I scored 700 on my first try, but I knew I could do better on the Verbal section. I'm happy I found EMPOWER because their "Score Booster" programs provided just what I needed. The videos on the site cover all the details, without wasting any time. RIch and Max do a great job of breaking down the material and also providing tips on how to best approach problems. One of my favorite aspects of the EMPOWER experience is that Rich and Max will always let you know which questions are "worth points." This made me realize that in the past I had put much time and effort into problems that were not necessarily as "important."

Their approach to SC helped me realize just how logical that section is and I began treating those questions with the same confidence I approached the Quant questions. In the past, timing was an issue for me on the Verbal section and I found the RC and CR EMPOWER tactics to be extremely helpful in my time management efforts. Come test day I was able to attack the passages with confidence and use proper note taking strategies to cut down my time spent on each question.

My Verbal score increased from a 37 to a 46 in just 2 months! My goal was to keep my Quant score (49) right where it was and to improve my Verbal score and that's just what I did in 2 short months using EMPOWER. It had been almost 4 months since my first GMAT attempt so I found the Quant Score Booster to be helpful in refreshing my Quant skills to get back to where I was originally. I 100% recommend EMPOWER for all retesters who are committed to improving their score and just need some guidance along the way!

This review is for: Optimus Prep™ Optimus Prep Private Tutoring | Location: Online

I took the GMAT 4 times! Yes, as you already guessed I tried several companies before I found out about Optimus. The video content was great. It provided a comprehensive explanation of the concepts. Although I knew some of the concepts, the course added value to my knowledge base. The course included both on the demand feature and online tutoring. What I liked the most about the course is how the lessons were organized. Instead of focusing on the verbal or the Quant. Each lesson is a mix of both. I got a chance to practice and apply what I learned after each lesson by taking quizzes.
I worked with Jennifer. She was amazing. She communicated the core strategies required to handle questions and addressed my concerns by providing additional materials that helped me improve. I felt that I was working with a friend rather than a tutor. She continuously asked about my performance and provided weekly feedback on ways that I can improve. Working with Optimus, I was able to achieve my target score. I increased my score by 70 points.
Because of the valuable experience I had, I decided to work with Optimus again by utilizing the consultant services. Janielle helped me develop, organize, and connect my ideas. We worked on the outline together. She also provided instant feedback and suggested ways to improve my essay.

I took the GMAT on 19th August and scored a 710 on my first attempt. Hence I would like to thank e-GMAT for the valuable support. I took the e-GMAT verbal online course and also attended most of the highly attended free online sessions. The instruction style at e-GMAT is perfectly suited for people who want to prepare at their own pace and convenience. The quizzes before each module helped me gauge my current skill level and the final quiz after the module demonstrated a clear and tangible improvement. I feel that this course is ideal for people like me who are non-native English speakers.
