I took a GMAT course with Veritas Prep because they have the most classroom hours and practice tests. I wanted to get the most bang for my buck, but the real value of the course was my instructor.

Meet Ravi, half man, half GMAT destroying machine. This guy is amazing. He teaches the class at a 99% or bust mentality and keeps the class engaged. He knows his material. He breaks down the question, solves it using different strategies and shows you the best approach.

He wants everyone to do well and it really shows. He is quick to respond to emails and he tells us what we should be doing everyday to improve on different sections. Now I have the tools and confidence I need to beat the GMAT. I still have to continue to study after the course, but now I know exactly what I need to focus on, and how to study. If you want to take a GMAT prep course, I highly suggest you take it with Ravi.

I took the course offered in New Brunswick, NJ (was not part of the drop-down options), and then followed up with one-on-one tutoring sessions to work on my personal weaknesses.

I did a lot of research and Veritas is a much better option than some GMAT course options out there. I have taken a Kaplan course a few years ago when I first took the GMAT. In addition to teaching test strategies (which seemed to be what Kaplan mostly focused on), Veritas provides a much deeper review of the basic concepts which most people have not learned since junior high school. Veritas also gives students a higher number of in-class hours with great online lessons and a homework/practice test component. Veritas allows students have online access for an extended period of time after the course, which is helpful if you want to brush up on any topics.

My score improved 210 points from the first time I took the GMAT (after my Kaplan course) to when I recently took it (after the Veritas course). If you need to break 600 and 700, Veritas may give you the extra "kick" and help you perfect your score. However, keep in mind, that there is no magic solution, Veritas will give you great tools, but you’ll still have to put in the hours where you’ll need to get good and fast at utilizing those tools. Overall, I am very pleased with the help Veritas provided me with and my results.

My Instructor Aaron was the best. I could feel his genuine interest in my success. He was in fact a rocket scientist, but also a dang good teacher.
The course was structured well and offered many valuable resources. I loved the On-Demand classes and practice problems online. For me, the classroom hours were most helpful, but the versatility of Veritas is one of their biggest strengths.

Their customer service is great. I had problems with payments and they resolved them quickly and easily. They gave me the benefit of the doubt and I applaud their customer service efforts.

After taking this class, I feel very confident taking my GMAT and I look forward to getting into the business school of my choice.

I'm an Italian guy actually living in London (UK) and wishing to continue my studies here.
While i was quite strong in the quantitative section, i had many problems to engage with the verbal.
The VeritasPrep course really helped me to fill the gap. The teacher, with his very understandable method, was really helpful and able to explain every single questions or issues that emerged during the lesson. He used to offer several different approaches for any questions, in order to leave the final (and personal) evaluation, about which of them was the most effective, to each student.

>The material provided is appropriated and challenging. The ''questions bank'' is ample and well organized in different small sections, thus really comfortable; the books are respectable and easy to understand and finally the simulation tests are 15 and very useful to settle into the ''official test situation''.

I really had a good experience with VeritasPrep, that is why I recommend it to every students that want to do well on the GMAT.

The length of the course was just enough amount of time to get a refresher (especially on math subjects) and prepare for the exam. I found it extremely helpful in preparing for the Quant portion of the exam. Having a different Quant subjects reviewed once a week along with practice homework was definitely key.

It was great also to have a relatively small class, which enhanced the dynamics of the classroom, and where Neil was able to provide his undivided attention; it also allowed students to get to know each other and gather together for practice homework assignments. I certainly feel that I wouldn't have been able to acheive my current score and get accepted into my MBA program of choice, without the help of Neil Moakley and Veritas Prep.

Jen was very personable. She was very detailed and helpful with hints and pointers throughout the course. I was impressed with how she taught me to think openly about both the quant and verbal sections, Many problems were reviewed in detail throughout each class and any issues were also worked through step-by-step to ensure competency on the final GMAT. I would highly recommend Jen to anyone looking to beat the GMAT. I Enjoyed the course. There are many practice exams so you can monitor your progress throughout the lessons and ask specific questions for whatever issues one might have with the actual practice exams.

I followed the Veritas Prep courses last year. I had to prepare for my GMAT exam that was 3 months away, and I had to manage a 40h job at the same time. The scheduling of the courses in the morning over the portal was perfect.

I was lucky enough to be part of a class that never exceeded 2-3 people. Rich Zwelling was definitely a great professor, taking the time to explain in different ways. He also took the time before and after class to go over some additional material.

I took the GMAT about 10 days after the end of the classes and was happy to see my score had increased.

It surely takes a lot of discipline and determination to see your score increase, but it is possible.
I recommend taking this type of courses.

I took the GMAT prep course in SF and thought it was great. Veritas Prep breaks down every aspect of the GMAT into 13 books. I took the time and read through all of them to prepare for my exam. Do all of the practice questions and the homework. All of the lessons are online in case you need to review something, and I was also able to e-mail my instructor. Matt Douglas was also top notch, he explained things in ways that you could understand them and was engaging enough to make the 3 hours at night go by with relative ease.

Unfortunately, my exam didn't go so well. I was really busy at work and bombed the test. Thankfully, I am going back to the Veritas classes and am going to take the test again.

Let me start out by saying that I am not a good standardized test taker by any means. I've struggled with these tests all my life, constantly performing below what someone of my GPA would expect. From class 1, Steve helped explain the GMAT in an understandable and helpful way. Each week he would ask if he had questions about our homework and never stopped encouraging us to bring him questions. Not only would he explain how he got the correct answer, Steve would try to understand how one of us got it wrong based on our thinking and therefore, correct our process. Steve also didn't rush us through topics that we were struggling with, allowing us to have time to digest the material in class rather than being overly confused when we went to do the homework. Even since the course has ended, Steve has reached out to us a few times offering any help and wishing us luck on the exam.

As for the course itself, I thought it was great! Each class was a different topic, which kept it interesting each time we met. I never felt bored. In fact, I would usually look up at the clock and be surprised how much time went by. There is a lot of homework, but it only helps reinforce what you need to know. Over the 6 weeks of the course, it truly became my life outside of work, but it's paying off with the results I've been getting on my practice exams.

At first I was a little hesitant spending all this money on a course, but I can honestly say that I'm very glad I did it. It was worth every dollar and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to take a course that will actually give results.

I would like to commend the instructor, Steve Odabashian, for a great job of teaching. Steve spent a lot of time and effort in teaching the Veritas Prep materials and also personalizing the course to each student's needs. Steve also went above and beyond and provided tips and insights on how to succeed on the GMAT based on his own test-taking strategies and experience.

After taking this course with Steve, I feel a lot more confident in my preparations for the GMATs.
