I took a live online course with Ravi Sreerama and I thought he was a great instructor. He will reach out to you to you if you are struggling and will open a dialog with you and talk about what you need to do to improve. I took the GMAT after having not touched a textbook in about 5 years and got a 400 but after the course I saw a 100-150 jump in my practice tests which is a big improvement considering where I was at. I think Ravi was a great instructor but the course is going to be tough if you are working full time, I wish they had an option for a longer course than 6 weeks with less hours required during the week but as far as what I could find online this was the best option.

Veritas has a pretty slick website and the books are well designed and formatted and you can even watch a recorded version of the lessons Ravi has done during the course. I recommend Veritas if you want to see an improvement in your score.

There are few things that help motivate you to study for the GMAT. Having a great instructor (Ravi) and eager classmates willing to go over tough topics bi-weekly have helped me keep on track as well as increase my understanding of the test. This class isn't meant to teach you the core topics but helps you understand why they ask the question and why the answers are what they are. This is the true nature of really conquering the GMAT. Also, Ravi is a pretty awesome instructor and I wish more instructors teach like he does. If you have high hopes of getting into the MBA of your choice and need serious help. Consider this course and RAVI

I took a class under Ethan Todras-Whitehil and he's hands down one of the best teachers in this business. He's super funny and super interactive. He always stays back after class to help you out.

This course is pretty advanced so you do need some prior knowledge before coming in. Otherwise you can get up to date by doing the practice assignments before each class (its LONG).

This course is perfect if you have a 550-650 and you want to aim higher.

I immediately took the GMAT right after my class was over (without doing any further practice tests, etc.) and I improved my score by 100. Not bad at all. Can't wait to rally put in the time and see how it goes in a few months time.

While I initially signed up for the in person course, it was cancelled due to the lack of registrants.

They gave me a ~$200 discount and signed me up for the online course. I was fortunate after all, as the logistics of leaving work in Phoenix then driving to Tempe would of been a bit of a hassle in the middle of what would be an 11+ hour day.

The biggest improvement I found was the skill builders in the guides. Do them every time. Do them before the test too. They are simple and will not rack your brain but they will reinforce the concepts that you NEED to know in order to do well in the tests.

Ravi was a great proctor. Fun, but stern with his insistence of getting the answers correct because you know the formula of how to do it successfully within frame of how you need to go about answering questions on the GMAT. Not because you guessed it or used a method that won't help you for the actual GMAT questions.

The walk-through videos, as well as the ability to comment and ask questions about the homework was critically important as well.

While I improved on everything including my Quant score, my IR score went from a 4 to a perfect 8.

Veritas continually surprised me throughout my studying journey with the breadth of resources available. I am a mix of auditory and visual learner, so in person classes are the best way to learn. However, Veritas also offered on the go instructional videos that you could watch and listen to while doing just about anything. They also had private tutoring which was excellent, and their books were all available via e-reader.
My instructor was available at all hours of the day for calls about tough questions and moral support. He was excited and positive throughout the process and never was stumped by a question.

Highly recommend Veritas Prep to anyone looking to improve their GMAT score. The course schedule kept me on track and on top of my studying. The strategies taught in the classes have been really useful - my GMAT score went up 130 points after taking the course. Ravi was a great instructor as well - his teaching style really helped me stay focused during the class (which is saying a lot for a 3 hour lesson after a full work day). He is also very responsive in any test studying/strategy questions you may have, which made the online experience a little more personal. Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend Ravi as an instructor!

I took the Veritas Live Online Course in early 2015. The instructor, Ravi Sreerama, was excellent. Right on point and fantastic to learn from - the classes were a pleasure with him and I actually find I missed them once it was over! The online format worked really well too (it was just like being in a classroom, except much more convenient - plus you could re-watch the classes any time you wanted). The course content was very comprehensive, but perhaps the books even had too much information (they could've been shorter). Overall a very positive experience - I would recommend it to all.

Brian taught me in May of 2015 at the Hilton hotel in Washington DC.
I was getting the 600’s, but I wanted to break the 700 to get into a top school. Brian helped me achieve the 700.
Not only did I need someone who already broke the 700 and could teach GMAT, but I also wanted someone who went to a top MBA school so he can give me some admissions advice and some attendance advice.
He was very helpful after the course as well. Whenever I needed help when practicing, or help to give me a moral push, I would send him an email and he would respond.
For example, I had a gap between my QUANT score and my Verbal score, and I was worried that top MBA schools would ding me because of this. I was worried so I sent an email to Bryan. He did comfort me and tell me that it was not a huge factor to create a ding.
I appreciated his assistance with helping me break the 700! I would recommend Brian as an MBA instructor.

A little preface, I took Manhattan self study a few years ago and sat for the GMAT. I scored in the low 600's.
After contemplating business school, I decided the best chance of my acceptance was to retake the GMAT. After reading numerous reviews online, I decided Veritas Prep was the best choice, especially since they had a money-back guarantee if I didnt beat my previous live GMAT score. The VP materials were excellent and thorough, I think each section clearly broke down the GMAT subjects and strategies needed to master the test. For me personally, an in-person class was very helpful to grasp concepts not easily understood. Our instructor was very good at relating the material to practical business applications( ie: sentence correction errors to real life lawsuits where companies lost millions on the use of the wrong verb conjugation) and had great personal examples (catch phrases, stories, etc.) that allowed me to easily remember material when sitting down and taking the test. My biggest complaints were the classroom and pace of the course. The classroom was small, had tiny tables, was in a mediocre hotel, and constantly smelled of burned plastic. The pace of each night of class was very inconsistent. Often times we would go slow at first, then speed through the end sections(more difficult problems) and not finish each book. We were so slow that we had to add an extra night just to finish all the material, granted it turned out to be a nice review session of all the subjects. Don't think if you go to class, you'll ace the test. Outside of the classroom hours, be prepared to dedicate each weekend to 1 practice test and homework (8 hours at least).

Ravi was simply a fantastic course instructor. I had taken a couple of other GMAT prep courses prior to taking Ravi’s Veritas Prep course, and Ravi was by far the best instructor. He has the unique ability to distill complex topics into easily digestible lessons. His engaging teaching style and genuine interest in his students’ success make him an obvious choice. Furthermore, Ravi does a great job focusing on what students must know to be successful on the GMAT. I really enjoyed the class structure because I was able to practice problems under a test-day time constraint and diagnose my weaknesses and issues with problem approach. Ultimately, the course allowed me to be strategic in my test preparation and execute on test day. I highly recommend Ravi without reservation.
