Great course if you attend all classes and do the homework. The online tools are really helpful and they have office hours where you can ask questions. They have multiple online practice test as well as online quizzes which provide a great diagnostic of your strengths and weakness.

The classes can be painfully long, especially after a full day of work but the instructor does a good job of keeping you engaged. I was very fearful on the sentence correction side of the exam, but the books are very brilliant in explaining step by step how to deconstruct even the most annoying verb tense agreement error found in a equivalent parallel error with multiple modifiers of course!

The different tools that Vertias Prep provide seem to be helpful but I guess we will see after the test!

I thought Veritas did a very good job at preparing you for the exam. The books were very helpful. You need to be willing to put the time in as most of the learning happens on your own through the materials rather than in the classroom setting. That is where you should be fine tuning concepts and not learning them for the first time.

I do wish there was more emphasis placed on the problems as I felt there was a lot of theory and test taking strategies being taught. Though those are helpful, when you only have 8 classes, I would prefer an onslaught of problem reviews.

All that being said, I would most certainly recommend Veritas.. especially over something like a Kaplan - I did not have a very good experience with one of their products.

If you're going to be spending 3 hours, two times a week for 7 weeks after work on studying for the GMATs, it's important that the atmosphere and the instructor is right. I have 14 students in my class and it was the ideal number to have discussions and by the end of it, we became a family. We're all still in touch and are getting together in study sessions. The material that Veritas provided was very thorough and clear. The vocabulary and explanations were to the point which I liked. I'm glad that Veritas allowed me to attend a trial class because that's when I knew I wanted to prepare for the GMATs with Veritas.

I have not yet taken the GMAT (I will in a few weeks but mt practice score has gone up) but I fell prepared. The course materials were very thorough and our instructor was great. He was accessible outside of class to answer additional questions. He did not make anyone in the course feel stupid for asking a question.
Having access to the Veritas website was extremely helpful, too. If I wanted to review a topic, I could watch the lessons on demand at anytime. Also, the diagnostic tests provided me with the opportunity to gauge how I was doing on a specific subject before jumping in and taking a full length course.

Rob (the instructor) was the best! He is very knowledgeable. He cares about everyone getting the score that they want, so he is will to do one on ones. Before taking this class, I needed a major refresher on everything that I learned in high school for the math section. Veritas Prep was able to provide me with the proper tools and agenda that enabled me to be up to date. I can't believe that I was able to prepare for the GMATs in less than two months! I would recommend Veritas Prep to anyone! It was worth the money. If you live in the NY area, I recommend trying to get Rob as your instructor!!

I was very hesitant to take an online course because I felt that I would not pay attention because there isn't a professor physically there but my instructor was so enthusiastic it kept me attentive. The chat box questions were quickly answered and there was also a place to click answer choices when a question was asked and the professor posts the ratio of how many students answered which answer. The only difficult part for me was trying to finish the mass amount of homework they assign you because I am juggling school and working. Overall it was a wonderful course but make sure you have the time!

Bill had a lot of great tips and tricks for the student to use and remember to help improve our score in both verbal and quant. The AWA sections are extremely easy after taking this course and following a simple layout.

The online quizzes and online feedback you get it amazing and really helps you to focus in on your areas of opportunity.

There are about 15 practice tests included with the program, 10 of which were old GMAT tests to help give you an extremely good estimate of your score when test day comes.

I would definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed!

I really liked taking the courses via veritas. I did the full course program because I needed the structure of twice a week to really get my mind wrapped around the GMAT. I took the course way too early, much before I was actually going to apply to business school, but I can re-take the course at any time. Their customer service is awesome, just one phone call and they put you right back in a course. Highly recommended!

There is also a lot of useful info on their website, along with tests, and class reviews for any missed lectures. Very valuable resources and very helpful.

I very much enjoyed Mr. Heyman's enthusiastic and helpful approach to tackling difficult GMAT problems. The strategies that he and the Veritas team recommend are certainly effective in beating the GMAT. I had previously struggled immensely with the quantitative section of the exam and I didn't have the strongest math background. Yet, the things I learned in the Veritas class helped me to overcome some of those deficiencies and gain the confidence I needed to re-take the GMAT. Apart from this prep course, I most likely would have had a disastrous GMAT. Not only the strategies and tools it gives, but also the way the course keeps you on schedule and on track for success, makes what seems to be a formidable challenge much more manageable.

The tutor was extremely knowledgeable about the GMAT and made sure to keep the 3 hours as interesting as possible. In addition to learning the material, we also learned many little tricks and tips that are necessary to do well on the GMAT. The prep books are extremely thorough and do a good job of covering everything from the basics all the way up to what a 700 level question would look like. I have not taken the test yet, but I know my score will improve from my diagnostic test due to the preparation that I received from the Vertias Prep course.
