Optimus Prep in New York offers customized GMAT preparation courses to meet your needs as you prepare for the GMAT. Our private tutoring courses always begin with a diagnostic computer adaptive test, or CAT. After taking the CAT, you’ll work with a private tutor in New York to develop a unique course of study for your GMAT preparation.

The GMAT consists of four sections: quantitative, verbal, the essay, and integrated reasoning. While only the first two are directly counted in your score, it’s important that your GMAT course prepares you for all of these sections since business schools will see all of them when you send your score report. The integrated reasoning section is also quite new and might become more important in the future.

Our GMAT course uses The Official Guide for GMAT Review, the essential preparation book published by the Graduate Management Admission Council. During your GMAT course, you’ll answer practice questions in this book across a range of difficulty levels. The Official Guide also contains some discussion of GMAT strategy, but our tutors will personalize the strategies discussed in your course to your specific needs. Our New York tutors have worked with a wide range of students and can structure the course to focus on improving your weaknesses and honing your strengths.
