Harvard has released their essays<\/a>. Columbia did, too. And Stanford. And with each passing day, more and more schools are going to follow suit. If that\u2019s not a sign that 2013 MBA application season is upon us, gosh, I don\u2019t know what is.<\/p>\n

So\u2026 I guess it\u2019s time to start really thinking about those apps, eh? Like, really thinking about \u2018em. Not in a, \u201cI\u2019m going to apply next year\u201d sorta way, but more of a, \u201cI need to come up with a plan and start piecing it all together\u201d fashion.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve got time, that\u2019s for sure, but it\u2019s your job to use that time wisely. Do you need to sit down and start writing those essays yet? Maybe not (although we\u2019ve already got some very eager and ambitious applicants whipping up their first drafts for HBS!); but you should start coming up with a plan for success.<\/p>\n

So let\u2019s do that together.<\/p>\n

First thing\u2019s first, let\u2019s figure out all the pitfalls and blunders you should avoid at all costs when crafting those MBA applications.
