\"Employment<\/a>Whether graduating from Haas<\/a> with an MBA, Bachelor\u2019s, or PhD, the job search seems to be getting a little bit easier<\/a>. According to early employment data for the MBA grads, the \u201cmean and median base salary for the class [is] currently trending to exceed last year\u2019s.\u201d Eighty-eight percent of this year\u2019s class has received offers, versus 87 percent last year. Students will be working for top firms in consulting, tech, and finance, such as Bain, Boston Consulting Group, Google, Facebook, and JP Morgan.<\/p>\n

The class of 2013 looks promising as well, with close to 98 percent having received summer internship offers, from companies such as Amazon, Deloitte, and Monitor Group.<\/p>\n

PhD grads have found work in academia at NYU Stern<\/a>, USC<\/a>, and even in Singapore. Grads will also be doing post-doc work and working for the SEC and BlackRock.<\/p>\n

For the 2012 undergrad class at Haas, on-campus interviewing and job postings were up this year, along with a substantial rise in employment participation in career fairs. According to a preliminary survey, only 10 percent of Haas seniors are still looking for jobs, with 80 percent having found employment. The remaining 10 percent are either going to grad school, working in post-grad internships, or are self-employed.
