The gift will be used to match support from Darden in establishing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.darden.virginia.edu\/web\/Media\/Darden-News-Articles\/2012\/Stamps-Foundation-Partners-with-Darden-to-Provide-26-Full-Fellowships\/\">26 full-tuition scholarships<\/a> that will be presented over the next six years starting in the fall of 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The Penny and Roe Stamps IV Leadership Fellowship Awards will be given to students based on their merit and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accepted.com\/mba\/applicationessays.aspx\">core values<\/a>,\u201d such as innovation, scholarship, perseverance, service, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accepted.com\/admissions\/leadershipessay.aspx\">leadership<\/a>. Plus, \u201cthose nominated for a Stamps Fellowship will exemplify a superior level of readiness to share their perspectives in the classroom, get involved with the School, University and surrounding community and make an overall leadership impact on society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stamps Fellows will also receive a $5,000 award, which they can use as students at Darden \u201cto help defray the costs of participating in Global Business Experiences, academic or co-curricular conferences, national case competitions, and other activities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Stamps Foundation supports grad and undergrad students from other schools, as well.
