It was ranked #2 for entrepreneurship, for management, for nonprofit management, and #3 for <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com\/best-graduate-schools\/top-business-schools\/management-rankings\"><em>marketing<\/em><\/a><em> (tied with <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.accepted.com\/mba\/DukeFuqua.aspx\"><em>Duke Fuqua<\/em><\/a><em>), Production\/Operations, and Supply Chain\/Logistics.\u00c2 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsb.stanford.edu\/mba\/admission\">Stanford GSB Class of 2014 Student Profile:<\/a> Marketing &amp; Consumer Products<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6716 people applied to Stanford GSB in 2012; 398 matriculated as new students this fall.<\/p>\n<p>Students admitted this year have an average of 4.2 years of work experience. The average GMAT score for the class of 2014 is 729.<\/p>\n<p>Previous industry experience related to marketing: 8% entered Stanford with industry experience in Consumer Products &amp; Services; Significant other elements of the class worked in industries like media and entertainment or high tech and could also have been working in a marketing capacity, but the statistics don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t reveal previous function.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stanford Academics Related to Marketing\/Consumer Products<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsb.stanford.edu\/mba\/academics\">Stanford GSB curriculum<\/a>, which is based on the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153noble calling\u00e2\u20ac\u009d of management, is individually tailored according to work experience, background, and career goals.
