{"id":1601,"date":"2009-12-21T11:44:16","date_gmt":"2009-12-21T19:44:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gmatclub.com\/blog\/?p=1601"},"modified":"2009-12-21T11:44:16","modified_gmt":"2009-12-21T19:44:16","slug":"gmat-volume-hits-record-high","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gmatclub.com\/blog\/gmat-volume-hits-record-high\/","title":{"rendered":"GMAT Volume Hits Record High"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hot off the <a href=\"https:\/\/gmac.mediaroom.com\/index.php?s=43&amp;item=97\" target=\"_blank\">Mediaroom<\/a> press: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) reports that 2009 will see a record-breaking number of GMAT test takers\u2014a whopping 267,000, up from last year's record of 264,700.<\/p>\n<p>GMAC's Dave Wilson discusses the phenomenon: \u201cThe unprecedented GMAT testing levels we are seeing are a clear indication of the value of graduate management education in today\u2019s marketplace,\u201d said David A.
