\"New<\/a>Duke University's Fuqua School of Business<\/strong> last week announced that William Boulding<\/strong> has been selected to serve a full, five-year term as dean.<\/p>\n

After evaluating more than 100 candidates from around the world, a search committee made up of faculty, students, and administrators recommended Boulding's full appointment. Boulding had been named to a two-year term to succeed Blair Sheppard<\/strong>, who stepped down in 2011.<\/p>\n

As dean, Boulding has strengthened Fuqua's programs at its home campus in Durham while also engaging with students, faculty and alumni at its sites in China, India, Russia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, the school reveals. Boulding also has worked closely with faculty and administrators at the school and across the university, and has been a leader in Duke's efforts to promote interdisciplinary scholarship and learning.<\/p>\n
