\"scholarships<\/a>Ever wonder which elite MBA programs offer the most free money to students? Bloomberg Businessweek<\/em> revealed the results last week of its recent ranking of the top B-schools for scholarships<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Based on the percentage of 2011-12 tuition and fees covered by the average scholarship award, multiplied by the percentage of students receiving scholarships, here are Bloomberg Businessweek's<\/em> top ten most scholarship-friendly business schools:<\/p>\n

1. Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business<\/strong>, where 65 percent of students received scholarships. The average award at Mendoza was $25,153, which would have covered 59 percent of the $42,870 in tuition and fees charged that year.<\/p>\n

2. Indiana University's Kelley School of Business<\/strong>, where 49 percent of students received scholarships. The average award at IU Kelley was $24,294, which would have covered 54 percent of the $45,350 in tuition and fees.<\/p>\n

3. Stanford Graduate School of Business<\/strong>, where 56 percent of students received scholarships. The average award at the Stanford GSB was $23,683, which would have covered 43 percent of the $55,200 in tuition and fees.<\/p>\n

4. Harvard Business School<\/strong>, where 47 percent of students received scholarships. The average award at HBS was $29,843, which would have covered 49 percent of the $60,610 in tuition and fees.<\/p>\n

5. Cornell University's Johnson School of Management<\/strong>, where 42 percent of students received scholarships. The average award at Johnson School was $24,204, which would have covered 47 percent of the $51,480 in tuition and fees.<\/p>\n

6. UNC<\/strong> Kenan-Flagler Business School<\/strong>, where 26 percent of students received scholarships. The average award at UNC Kenan-Flagler was $32,384, which would have covered 64 percent of the $50,613 in tuition and fees.<\/p>\n

7. UV Darden School of Business<\/strong>, where 29 percent of students received scholarships. The average award at UV Darden was $26,677, which would have covered 57 percent of the $47,000 in tuition and fees.<\/p>\n

8. UCLA Anderson School of Management<\/strong>, where 34 percent of students received scholarships. The average award at UCLA Anderson was $19,737, which would have covered 43 percent of the $45,385 in tuition and fees.<\/p>\n

9. University of Michigan's Ross School of Business<\/strong>, where 24 percent of students received scholarships. The average award at UM Ross was $24,175, which would have covered 48 percent of the $50,189 in tuition and fees.<\/p>\n

10. MIT's Sloan School of Management<\/strong>, where 19 percent of students received money. The average award at MIT Sloan was $22,819, which covered 45 percent of the $50,353 in tuition and fees.<\/p>\n
