It is ranked in third place for <a href=\"https:\/\/https:\/\/grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com\/best-graduate-schools\/top-business-schools\/marketing-rankings\" target=\"_blank\">marketing<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fuqua.duke.edu\/daytime-mba\/\" target=\"_blank\">Duke Fuqua\u2019s Class of 2014 and Marketing<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The class of 2014 Daytime MBA class size is 432 students with an average age of 29. Over 99% of students entered with work experience; the average is 5.4 years of work experience. The 80% range of students scored between 640 and 740 on the GMAT and have an undergraduate GPA of 2.9 to 3.9.<\/p>\n<p>Engineering and Natural Sciences is the highest represented major (32% of students). Following close after that is the Business and Accounting major (31%), followed by Liberal Arts (20%), Economics (13%), and Other (3%).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fuqua.duke.edu\/daytime-mba\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Fuqua Academics Related to Marketing<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Since obtaining global knowledge is a foundational element of the Duke Fuqua mission, the two-year program kicks off with a four-week <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fuqua.duke.edu\/student_resources\/academics\/courses\" target=\"_blank\">Global Institute<\/a> featuring three core courses:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Leadership, Ethics, and Organizations<br \/>\n2. Global Institutions and Environments<br \/>\n3. Specializing in a concentration is optional; students may concentrate in up to two areas.<\/p>\n<p>There are two concentrations geared towards marketing students: Product Management and Market Analysis and Strategy.
