I'm always telling you to practice, even if it's just for a couple of minutes. It's true, all those short study sessions, over time, add up. To that end, I've made a short GMAT Sentence Correction<\/a> quiz for you, designed to take just about five minutes. Ideally, when you're at your Test Day<\/a> Best, you'll be running through Sentence Correction questions in an average of one minute each. Note the important words in that sentence: Ideally<\/strong><\/em>, Test Day Best<\/strong><\/em>, and average<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Today, you'll set your timer for five minutes<\/strong><\/span> for this quiz, and it will give you a sense of how you're doing on pacing with GMAT Sentence Correction questions. Don't castigate yourself if you're not done within five minutes - that just means that you need to devote more time and practice to this question type. This practice quiz is just practice<\/strong><\/span>, and will give you a sense of how you're doing, as well as valuable review<\/a> of the concepts and method when we post the answer explanations on Thursday.<\/p>\n

So - get your noteboard ready (a wet erase board and marker is test-realistic, but pen and paper will do), set yourself up somewhere that you won't be interrupted, and set your timer for five minutes. You can even make it as test-like as possible - no music, no drink or snacks at your workstation, etc. (Of course, if you're using your cell phone as a timer, that's not test day realistic<\/a>, but we'll make an exception here.)<\/p>\n

One quick hint: keep track of your eliminated answers on your noteboard. That is, write down ABCDE, and cross out answers as you eliminate them.<\/p>\n
