\"Infosys-Hiring1\"<\/a>According to an article in The Economic Times<\/em><\/a>, Infosys hasn\u2019t hired MBA talent for four years now, but currently plans on changing that by hiring at least 200 MBAs from top b-schools<\/a> around the world, in an effort to beef up its business consulting practice. This will be the largest ever global MBA recruitment by an Indian company.<\/p>\n

According to Pascal Matzke, VP of Forrester Research, \u201cInfosys realises it has a lot of great technical skills, but not business skills. This (hiring global MBAs) is to beef up business capabilities and skills so that they really can compete with the likes of Accenture.\u201d<\/p>\n

Business schools that Infosys is targeting include: HBS<\/a>, Wharton<\/a>, NYU Stern<\/a>, Chicago Booth<\/a>, UCLA<\/a>, and Kellogg<\/a> in the United States; London Business School<\/a>, INSEAD<\/a>, ESADE, Oxford Said, International Institute for Management Development (Switzerland), and Rotterdam School of Management in Europe; and NUS, Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Australian Graduate School of Management, Melbourne Business School, and China Europe International Business School in Asia-Pacific.<\/p>\n

Infosys will also be hiring from the IIMs in India.<\/p>\n

With new hiring strategies and improved employee engagement, Infosys plans on lowering its attrition rate which is one of the highest among top-tier firms (at 18%).<\/p>\n
