{"id":23193,"date":"2014-03-11T11:07:59","date_gmt":"2014-03-11T18:07:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gmatclub.com\/blog\/2014\/03\/3-way-tie-in-us-news-best-b-school-rankings\/"},"modified":"2014-03-11T11:07:59","modified_gmt":"2014-03-11T18:07:59","slug":"3-way-tie-in-us-news-best-b-school-rankings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gmatclub.com\/blog\/3-way-tie-in-us-news-best-b-school-rankings\/","title":{"rendered":"3-Way Tie in US News Best B-School Rankings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There was little movement and few surprises among the elite programs in the <em>U.S. News<\/em> ranking of the <a title=\"US News top business schools\" href=\"https:\/\/grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com\/best-graduate-schools\/top-business-schools\/mba-rankings\" target=\"_blank\">top business schools<\/a>, announced today. <strong>Harvard Business School<\/strong>, <strong>Stanford Graduate School of Business<\/strong>, and the University of Pennsylvania&#8217;s <strong>Wharton School<\/strong> share the number-one spot in the 2015 rankings.<\/p>\n<p>Harvard and Stanford\u2019s first-place tie remained the same as last year\u2019s standings. This was the highest rank ever achieved by Wharton in the U.S. News survey; last year Wharton finished third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chicago Booth School of Business<\/strong> ranks No. 4, moving up two places over the previous year, <strong>MIT Sloan School of Management<\/strong> takes fifth place, while Northwestern\u2019s <strong>Kellogg School of Management<\/strong> fell two spots to No. 6 in the 2015 standings, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>The top ten is rounded out by <strong>UC Berkeley Haas School of Business<\/strong>, <strong>Columbia Business School<\/strong>, Dartmouth&#8217;s <strong>Tuck School of Business<\/strong>, and, No. 10, NYU<strong> Stern School of Business<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>11. Michigan Ross School of Business<br \/>\n12. UV Darden School of Business<br \/>\n13. Yale School of Management<br \/>\n14. Duke&#8217;s Fuqua School of Business<br \/>\n15. UT McCombs School of Business<br \/>\n16. UCLA Anderson School of Management<br \/>\n17. Cornell&#8217;s Johnson School<br \/>\n18. CMU Tepper School of Business<br \/>\n19. UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School<br \/>\n20. Emory University&#8217;s Goizueta Business School<\/p>\n<p>The <em>U.S. News<\/em> rankings are based on a weighted average of several indicators, including overall program quality, peer assessments, recruiter assessments, placement success, starting salary and bonus, average GMAT\/GRE score, undergraduate GPA and more.<\/p>\n<p>To compile this year\u2019s rankings, all 453 master\u2019s programs accredited by AACSB International were surveyed in fall 2013 and early 2014.\u00a0A total of 385 responded, of which 127 provided enough of the data needed to calculate the full-time MBA rankings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/StacyBlackman\/~4\/PVoDO41pzMg\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There was little movement and few surprises among the elite programs in the U.S. News ranking of the top business schools, announced today.
