\"Wharton12-300x225\"<\/a>The admissions teams at Wharton<\/a> and Ross<\/a> have sent out interview invitations over the last few weeks. If you received one, congrats!<\/p>\n

Here are some tidbits about the Ross interview invites:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Invitations were sent out on Monday, October 20th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If you didn\u2019t receive an interview invitation, that doesn\u2019t necessarily equal a ding \u2013 you could still be waitlisted or asked to interview during Round 2.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If you\u2019re wondering about the percentage of interviewed applicants that get admitted, Soojin Kwon, Michigan Ross\u2019s Director of Admissions, explains: \u201c[T]hat depends on the number of interview invitations we make \u2013 which varies from year to year depending on the approach we want to take (e.g., cast a wide net, which could mean more interviewees are placed on the waitlist), and the number of admission offers we make, which depends on projected yield (i.e., our estimate of how many admits will decide to enroll).\u201d So don\u2019t necessarily create predictions based on previous years\u2019 numbers!<\/p>\n

And for Wharton:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Round 1 team-based discussions will be held on campus (in Philadelphia), as well as at off-campus locations in San Francisco, London, Dubai, Sao Paulo, Mumbai, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, and Singapore.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Interviews will take place in November. Invites were only sent out on Friday, October 31st<\/sup>, so yours could still be in the mail\u2026.<\/p>\n
