Check out the Best Executive Education Programs of 2014!<\/strong><\/p>\n The Financial Times released their rankings for the best open enrollment Executive Education programs of 2014. <\/p>\n Booth, Darden and INSEAD show improvement in ranking!<\/p>\n The Financial Times rankings are determined by several broad categories, including salary earned post-education, career progress, school diversity, and idea generation. Additionally, all eligible schools must be accredited by AACSB or Equis and have been running for at least four years. The annual rankings are both a trademark of Financial Times as well as a well-accepted set of rankings by business schools worldwide.<\/p>\n Although IMD in Switzerland continues to hold the #1 spot in Financial Times\u2019 rankings year after year, the biggest change in rank position out of all top 10 schools for Executive Education goes to the University of Virginia\u2019s Darden School of Business. Darden moved up a total of 11 spots this year, from #14 in 2013 to #3 in 2014. Darden has made several notable changes in their faculty and teaching methods in the past year, which resulted in greater scores among the Financial Times participant survey. Most notably, Darden has had a record-breaking increase in female enrollment. In particular, the percent of female enrollment in the Executive Education programs at Darden has increased from 31% last year to 41% in 2014. Additionally, Darden showed a large increase in faculty diversity, which also contributed to its rise in rank. <\/p>\n The University Chicago\u2019s Booth School of Business also saw a modest rise in rank from #5 in 2013 to #2 in 2014, and INSEAD stepped up one spot from #6 in 2013 to #5 in 2014. Harvard Business School slipped back two spots, from #4 in 2013 to #6 in 2014, and saw a modest decrease in almost every single area of study in the participant and business school surveys, including course design, business and growth, and new skills offered.
