{"id":356,"date":"2009-02-25T12:24:55","date_gmt":"2009-02-25T20:24:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gmatclub.com\/blog\/?p=356"},"modified":"2009-02-25T23:28:03","modified_gmt":"2009-02-26T07:28:03","slug":"harvard-haas-mbas-land-job-offers-despite-challenges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gmatclub.com\/blog\/harvard-haas-mbas-land-job-offers-despite-challenges\/","title":{"rendered":"Harvard, Haas MBA&#8217;s Land Job Offers Despite Challenges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The Harvard Crimson<\/em> reports that despite the current recession, the number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecrimson.com\/article.aspx?ref=526736\">Harvard MBA students who have received job offers<\/a> at this point in the year compared to the same time last year, remains relatively flat.<span> <\/span>The data is based on a \u201cflash poll\u201d conducted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accepted.com\/mba\/HarvardHBS.aspx\">Harvard\u2019s MBA<\/a> Career Services in mid-February.<\/p>\n<p>Some interesting statistical highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>90% of second year MBA students seeking jobs, received offers.<\/li>\n<li>An online HBS job board has seen a 27% decrease in postings.<\/li>\n<li>In contrast to last year, less than half of students with job offers have accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although the number of offers hasn\u2019t changed significantly, students say that it is difficult to find the \u201cideal job.\u201d<span> <\/span>For example, second year student, Ben A.
