This just in: Wharton<\/strong> announced application deadlines<\/a> for the class of 2021, with R1 slated for Tuesday, September 18, 2018.<\/h2>\n

Just like HBS<\/strong>, which recently announced its new deadlines<\/a>, Wharton\u2019s Round 2 applications will be due on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Candidates looking to apply in Round 3 should mark their calendars for Tuesday, April 2, 2019.<\/p>\n

Changes anticipated to Wharton essays<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s also noteworthy that Wharton intends to reveal new essays<\/a> for its 2018-2019 cycle, which the schools says will be published soon.<\/p>\n

For reference, Wharton added a second essay question in 2016, asking applicants how they expect to contribute to the Wharton community and its collaborative culture. (The first essay question asks candidates to respond in 500 words to the question: \u201cWhat do you hope to gain both personally and professionally from the Wharton MBA?\u201d)<\/p>\n
