Major findings include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>59% of EMBA programs saw an increase in application volume. It was the first increase reported in three years, and the highest increase among other MBA programs.<\/li>\n<li>More students applied to full-time one-year MBA programs this year than last; however, the rate of increase was less this year than it was last year.<\/li>\n<li>More than 60% of MA programs in management, finance, and accounting reported application increases, most of which were 20% higher than last year's benchmarks.<\/li>\n<li>The average age of a full-time MBA program applicant in 2010 was 26 to 30 years old.<\/li>\n<li>A typical full-time applicant had three to six years of work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Two in five applicants to part-time MBA programs were women.<\/li>\n<li>54% of EMBA candidates for 2010 were 35 years old or older and 61% had 10 years or more of work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmac.com\/NR\/rdonlyres\/62DB70EE-CC4D-46B8-9DEC-EA9BB2D22F30\/0\/2010AT_SR_1stRelease.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">View the report<\/a> for more information on 2010's application volume, applicant profiles, recruitment, marketing, and tuition assistance, and acceptance and enrollment rates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you applying to business school for an MBA or an EMBA?
