In the 2016-2017 application cycle, there were 10,351 applications; last year there were 9,866, and this year there were only 9,228. This year\u2019s slight decline does not mean that it\u2019s any easier to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/reports.accepted.com\/mba\/harvard-business-school\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">get into HBS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other items of note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Even more accepted applicants are taking the GRE: 20% in this year\u2019s entering class compared to 15% last year.<\/li><li>For the first time in 3 years, the percent of women\u2019s enrollment went up: 43% this year compared to 41% last year.<\/li><li>While the percentage of international students remained stable from last year at 37%, the percentage of U.S. ethnic minorities went up from 26% last year to 27% this year.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s takeaway is that HBS continues to be stable in its class makeup.
