Bloomberg Businessweek<\/em> released its 2019 MBA rankings this week, and the administration at Dartmouth College\u2019s Tuck School of Business<\/a> is celebrating! Tuck rose an astonishing 17 places in this year\u2019s ranking to take the #2 spot just under Stanford\u2019s Graduate School of Business. This is Stanford\u2019s second year in a row in 1st place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who are this year\u2019s winners and losers?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Poets & Quants<\/em> analyzed the winners and losers in Bloomberg Businessweek\u2019s ranking. University of Virginia\u2019s Darden School of Business gained 8 spots last year, and has continued on its rise, jumping another 4 places this year to end up in 5th place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When there are winners, there are also losers. Eleven of the top 20 business schools dropped in their rank this year. The biggest loser is the University of Southern California\u2019s Marshall School of Business<\/a>, which fell 9 spots, taking it out of the top 20, to #22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Bloomberg Businessweek<\/em><\/a>, the 2019-2020 ranking is based on data from 26,804 surveys of MBA students and alumni, as well as recruiters. Participants from each school were questioned on their goals and experiences, salary, and job placement. Businessweek<\/em> also conducted interviews at business schools worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
