It\u2019s the second time in 10 years that Stanford has claimed the top slot.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other highlights include:<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.accepted.com\/yale-som-mba-essay-tips-deadlines\/\">Yale School of Management<\/a>\u00a0just barely broke into the top 10 by securing 10th place.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>Purdue\u2019s Krannert School of Management dropped 10 spots from last year, from 38th to 48th.<\/li>\r\n<li>Fordham\u2019s Gabelli School of Business jumped 12 spots from 62nd place last year to 50th.<\/li>\r\n<li>UC San Diego\u2019s Rady School of Management experienced a massive jump, from 94th to 71st place.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">P&amp;Q ranking methodology<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>P&amp;Q\u2019s rankings are based on the rankings of five highly-influential business publications, and are weighted based on P&amp;Q\u2019s assessment of each ranking\u2019s methodology and credibility. The five included in\u00a0<em>P&amp;Q<\/em>\u2019s ranking are\u00a0<em>U.S. News\u00a0<\/em>(weight of 35%),\u00a0<em>Forbes\u00a0<\/em>(25%),\u00a0<em>The Financial Times\u00a0<\/em>(15%),\u00a0<em>Businessweek\u00a0<\/em>(15%), and\u00a0<em>The Economist\u00a0<\/em>(10%). Combining the rankings in this way lessens the irregularities that are frequently seen in a given year.
