A successful Wharton Team-Based Interview is all about the team\u2019s success and your contribution to the team. It\u2019s not about strutting your stuff or dominating the conversation. It\u2019s also not about being a wallflower or going with the flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You need to listen carefully and contribute constructively. The team\u2019s success is paramount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most traditional interviews<\/a> are the opposite. They focus on you, and you are supposed to engage in a dialogue that highlights your individual contributions and fit with the interviewing MBA program. There is no team. The TBD \u2013 or any group interview \u2013 is a different ballgame and one you need to train for \u2013 unless you want to leave the results to chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
