To help the applicants\nnavigate through these exceptional circumstances, the business schools around\nthe world have taken several steps. Some schools have extended Round 3 deadlines,\nwhile some have introduced an additional round, waived GMAT\/GRE, moved to\nrolling admissions, waived application fee, and have allowed applicants to\nsubmit GMAT\/GRE after submitting applications, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At MER, we have been following updates that the business schools have been sharing with <a href=\"https:\/\/news.poetsandquants.com\/covid-19-business-school-bulletin\/may-6-2020\">Poets and Quants<\/a> every week for the past few weeks. We have also been following updates on the <a href=\"https:\/\/gmatclub.com\/forum\/covid-19-outbreak-updates-from-business-schools-319924.html\">GMAT Club<\/a>. Based on the information gathered, we have created a comprehensive bulleted list of a few significant changes made by 50 business schools <a>in response to COVID-19 crisis<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Harvard<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The deadline for the 2+2 program extended by two months to June 1<\/li><li>The School will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hbs.edu\/mba\/admissions\/Pages\/from-the-admissions-director.aspx?utm_campaign=adm_newsletter_202003&amp;utm_source=slate&amp;utm_medium=email\">maintain a larger waitlist<\/a> than normal, expecting a smaller amount of international admits may join the campus this Fall<\/li><li>HBS has decided to give all admitted MBA students the option to defer enrollment for either one or two years. Incoming students have until June 1 to request a deferral.<\/li><li>HBS has increased need-based scholarships and expanded the overall <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hbs.edu\/mba\/financial-aid\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">financial aid portfolio<\/a> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Stanford<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>There is no change in Round 3 deadline of\nApril 8 <\/li><li>Applicants can submit the necessary exam\nscores after the Round 3 Deadline dates<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Kellogg<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Kellogg had previously stated that applicants\ncan apply without GMAT or GRE score and submit the scores after submitting\ntheir application. <\/li><li>Two weeks later, Kellogg waived off the\nGMAT\/GRE\/TOEFL\/IELTS requirement for those applying to its extended Round 3\ndeadline of June 1 for its full-time MBA programs<\/li><li>Those who waitlisted\/denied in R1\/R2 can\nappeal for reconsideration.<\/li><li>The Kellogg Future Leaders deadline is extended\nfrom April 2 to June 3; it will accept online GMAT\/ GRE scores<\/li><li>The new decision date for Kellogg Future\nLeaders now will be July 29<\/li><li>For more details click <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kellogg.northwestern.edu\/inside\/2020\/03\/31\/round-3-application-extension-mba\/\">here<\/a>\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Columbia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Application deadline moved to June 1<\/li><li>Application decision shall be linked to\nGMAT\/ GRE score submission<\/li><li>More candidates are expected to be\nadmitted \"toward the end\" of the application cycle as some candidates\nmay not be able to make it to the campus due to exceptional circumstances<\/li><li>Columbia's EMBA summer term is now virtual,\nand CBS is providing $500 rebate per 3 credit courses<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. Cornell<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>no change in the R-3 deadline.
