This means that MBA round 3 acceptance rates are generally lower than in round 1 and round 2. Similarly, grants and scholarships are harder to come by later in the admissions game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, this doesn\u2019t mean that you shouldn\u2019t apply. Your chances of acceptance are obviously zero if you don\u2019t apply. They are greater than zero (even if not much greater) if you do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/reports.accepted.com\/mba\/webinar\/round3-vs-next-year\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f.hubspotusercontent40.net\/hubfs\/58291\/hub_generated\/resized\/24ceb884-1a3d-418c-9616-6e64fe0b29e3.jpeg\" alt=\"New Call-to-action\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-reasons-why-you-should-apply-round-3\">4 reasons why you should apply Round 3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>You have a class of 2024 or bust attitude.<\/strong>&nbsp;If you really have your heart set on joining the b-school class of 2024, then you should definitely apply R3 (or even R4 if your target program offers that option).<br><br><\/li><li><strong>You\u2019re an admissions dream come true.<\/strong>&nbsp;If you are a truly exceptional candidate \u2013 stats-wise,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.accepted.com\/different-dimensions-diversity-episode-193\/\">diversity-wise<\/a>, experience-wise, etc. \u2013 then you should apply R3\/R4. Not everyone is rejected (or there wouldn\u2019t be such a thing as late rounds), and if anyone is going to get in, it\u2019s going to be those applicants with extremely impressive profiles.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>You have nothing to lose.<\/strong>&nbsp;If you don\u2019t mind spending the extra money, time, and energy to apply now, get rejected, and then apply again during R1 of the next application season, then you really don\u2019t have much to lose going for it this year. In fact, if you\u2019re lucky enough to get feedback (that is, if you\u2019re unlucky enough to get dinged), then that feedback will prove extremely valuable&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accepted.com\/mba\/mba-admissions-application-advice-for-reapplicants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">when you reapply next year<\/a>.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>You were rejected R1 and have a new plan.<\/strong>&nbsp;You understand that you simply aimed too high and are now ready to apply to less competitive programs. Yes, I know that all reports indicate application volume is up this year, but if you really want to start your MBA studies this fall, keep reading.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-reasons-why-you-should-wait-until-next-year\">6 reasons why you should wait until next year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Your essays are still not quite right.<\/strong>&nbsp;Maybe you don\u2019t have the time to create flawless essays before the R3 buzzer.
