{"id":5623,"date":"2010-12-20T11:27:06","date_gmt":"2010-12-20T19:27:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gmatclub.com\/blog\/?p=5623"},"modified":"2010-12-20T11:27:06","modified_gmt":"2010-12-20T19:27:06","slug":"an-optimistic-look-at-2011-mba-hiring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gmatclub.com\/blog\/an-optimistic-look-at-2011-mba-hiring\/","title":{"rendered":"An Optimistic Look at 2011 MBA Hiring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmac.com\/gmac\/NewsandEvents\/DeansDigest\/2010\/December2010\/Year-End-Poll-of-Employers-Finds-Overall-2011-Hiring-Outlook-Likely-to-Improve.htm\">GMAC's Year-End Poll of Employment<\/a> shows an improvement in MBA hiring in the last year and provides an optimistic look at 2011 hiring trends as well.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some key findings from the survey:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>64% of the 210 employers who participated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.accepted.com\/acceptedcom_blog\/2010\/5\/11\/gmac-releases-results-from-2010-corporate-recruiters-survey.html?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=blogvisitors&amp;utm_campaign=MBAContent\">Corporate Recruiters Survey<\/a> said they would likely hire MBAs in 2011. In 2010 that number was 60%.<\/li>\n<li>One in four employers plans on increasing starting salaries for 2011 MBA hires.
